The meaning of entrepreneurship?

Google defines entrepreneurship as :-

The activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit.

Well that's okay but what does this actually mean? I think there has been too many discussions going on about how to be an entrepreneur, how to make money while you sleep, how to make a business model blah blah blah the list goes on.

I think to truly understand "What does it mean to be an entrepreneur?" we have to find the one key thing that drives everything. Being on this journey for almost 2 years now I have realised it's neither money, neither valuations or fame heck it's not even solving problems.

IT'S ALL ABOUT CREATING VALUE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES.

Think about it, about the value these startups have created in our lives

  1. How Instagram, Facebook and Twitter have allowed people to voice their opinions and be at the cusp of bringing change in the world!

  2. How Swiggy and Zomato allowed millions stuck at home during the pandemic without the basic necessities survive.

  3. How Scrollify is changing how you learn and gain knowledge and become better everyday (Sorry couldn't resist 😁)

You don't necessarily have to be in a lavish office managing 200 people to create impact in people's lives. Even a small corner in your room is now enough to reach anyone and everyone!
